Passaic, NJ - Michael Ostroff, President Patella Woodworking announced the relocation of his manufacturing company to 99 South Street, Passaic, NJ.

A grand opening celebration is scheduled for March 1, 2016 and will include participation by Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno, Mayor Alex Blanco, City of Passaic, Passaic County Freeholder Director Theodore Best and many other invited dignitaries.

Patella Woodworking is recognized for its high level of quality, in the production and installation of premium grade architectural woodwork (AWI certified premium grade). Patella’s Passaic manufacturing facility exceeds 90,000 square feet, and the company employs more than 70 woodworking professionals. “We are committed to providing quality work, while paying strict attention to detail and scheduling, noted Michael Ostroff, President. We are thrilled to relocate and grow our company in the City of Passaic.”

The company worked closely with the Lt. Governor’s office, Passaic County officials and the staff of the City of Passaic to ensure the expansion into the City of Passaic. Patella Woodworking received a GrowNJ tax incentive and invested more than $7 million in the project which included: building acquisition, leasehold improvements, and the purchase of machinery and equipment.

Lt. Governor Guadagno noted, “The relocation of Patella Woodworking to New Jersey is a perfect example of the positive impact of the GrowNJ incentive program – we are very excited that Mr. Ostroff selected New Jersey as the location for his business.” The company plans to expand employment to over 100 by 2017 and the improvements to the 99 South Street facility will be certified LEED Gold.

Freeholder Director Best stated, “Our staff worked diligently with Mr. Ostroff throughout 2015 to ensure that the company would expand in Passaic County. We are very proud of our business community and welcome Patella Woodworking to the County.”

Founded in 1960, Patella has sustained its reputation as an industry leader for more than 50 years. Old world skills are combined with new world management techniques and flexible modern technology including CNC equipment supported by AutoCad 2015 and Microvellum.

Mayor Blanco stressed, “The City is proud to welcome Patella Woodworking to Passaic. I applaud Mr. Ostroff for his investment and helping to bring important manufacturing jobs to our City. We look forward to working with Patella Woodworking as the company continues its tradition of excellence.”
