Night Court
Hours and Information
The Surrogate, in keeping with the
desire to render convenient, complete and helpful
service to the people of Passaic County, has
established a schedule of night court sessions.
The purpose of the night court is to
afford residents of the County an opportunity to
avail themselves of the services of the Surrogate
within the specified and adjacent communities, often
avoiding the need to take time off during the day
from their employment.
Night court hours are 5:30 to 7 p.m. at all four
locations.
Each night court session will be held on Tuesday
evenings throughout the year, unless the date falls
on a legal holiday or severe weather conditions
prevail.
