Youth Reception and Rehabilitation Center Effective Saturday April 4th, the Passaic County Youth Reception and Rehabilitation Center has closed and its operations have been merged with the Essex County Juvenile Detention Center.   All residents of the Passaic facility have been transferred to the Essex facility located at 80 Duryea Street in Newark, New Jersey. The County of Passaic will be offering family members complimentary shuttle transportation for Sunday visiting hours. The shuttle will be leaving from the parking garage located across from the County Administration Building located at 401 Grand Street. Two shuttles will be provided. The first will leave at 11:45 am. The second shuttle will leave from the same location at 1:00 pm.
