successful, each of us needs to consider the importance of "closing the recycling
loop", by purchasing products made from recycled materials. Purchasing products with
recycled content helps to create markets for the materials we put out at the curb or take
to our local depot to be recycled. 
either after
consumer use, post-consumer, or during the manufacturing process, post industrial or
pre-consumer, can be considered recycled content. Product labels may show if an item is
made of recycled materials or if they can be recycled. Looking for the highest percentage
of post-consumer recycled content helps to ensure that the materials you set out at the
curb or drop off for recycling are being used to make new products.
