Senior, Disability Services, & Veterans’ Affairs Passaic County’s Department of Senior, Disability Services, & Veterans’ Affairs brings together a number of divisions that have a daily impact on the lives of the populations they serve.   Senior Services Disability Services Para Transit Nutrition Services (Nutrition Sites & Meals on Wheels) Adult Day Care Veterans’ Affairs The Department of Senior Services provides and coordinates numerous services and sponsors many activities for the county’s senior citizens. Special lift vans are available to accommodate non-ambulatory individuals. Information on Free Medical Services, Education and Tuition Internment Services including distribution of flags to all Passaic County veteran groups for use in cemeteries and information on Survivor Benefits Service Medals and Outreach Programs The newest service available to veterans in our area is The Department of Military and Veterans’ Affairs Community Based Outreach Clinic. This medical clinic is open Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. If necessary, transportation to the facility can be arranged through the County’s Para Transit Program.
