County Clerk
Mission

The County Clerk's Office is a constitutional office as set forth in the New Jersey State Constitution. In Passaic County the office is comprised of the County Clerk Division, which includes the Election Division and Registry of Deeds Division. 

Services

The County Clerk's office is located in the Passaic County Administration Building in Paterson and our Satellite office is located in Haskell (Wanaque) (Click here for additional information). Services are also provided throughout the County on a rotating basis.   • 23,358 Applications for Vote By-Mail were processed in 2012. 
  • $14,210,838.44 were collected in fees in 2012 for County Treasurer. 
  • 6,728 Deeds and 15,324 Mortgages were Recorded in 2012.
  • 6,935 Passports were processed in 2012.
  • 1,973 Veteran's Id Cards have been processed.
  • 563 Weddings were perfomed since 2010 and 148 were performed in  
    2012.
