Paws in the Park
Paws in the Park is a special annual event that takes place at Goffle Brook Park in Hawthorne. Every year, Paws in the Park holds a celebration that honors our pets, finds forever homes for local pets in need of adoption, and all proceeds from the event go towards the Passaic County Sheriff K-9 unit, which patrols the parks and county-owned properties. Paws in the Park is held in October on Colombus Day weekend. For the most up to date information on Paws in the Park, like their Facebook Page Here.

Memorial Pet Garden
As part of an initiative to protect our K-9s, Passaic County is offering memorial bricks for people to purchase. These bricks are placed in the Pet Memorial Garden, at the foot of the hill by beautiful Lambert's Castle. These bricks will surround our Sheriff's K-9 memorial, for K-9s that retired or fell in the line of duty. The proceeds of these bricks will benefit the Passaic County Sheriff's K-9 unit and are tax deductible. The form for the bricks can be found here.
