NOTICE TO BIDDERS / LEGAL NOTICE

NOTICE is hereby given that sealed bid proposals will be received on October 5, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. by the County of Passaic, on the Second Floor of the Passaic County Procurement Center, located at 495 River Street, Paterson, NJ, 07524 for the following:

Project C-17-013
Paterson Transit Facility Pedestrian Safety Project

The work includes furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in the specifications and as shown on the construction plans.

The principal items of work to be constructed along with their approximate quantities are:

Bid proposals, Plans, and Specifications may be obtained by pickup at the Passaic County Procurement Center during regular business hours (8:30 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.). Bid proposals must be submitted on the forms supplied along with 2 additional copies.

Copies of said bidding documents may be obtained upon payment of TWENTY FIVE Dollars ($25.00) with payment made by Certified Check, Cashier's Check, Money Order or Business Check ONLY. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Bidding Documents, Plans, and Specifications WILL NOT be mailed.

Prospective Bidders shall telephone at least twenty-four (24) hours, or at least one (1) business day in advance to reserve Bidding Documents, Plans, and Specifications.

Bid proposals must be received at the hour designated in this advertisement, or previous thereto at the Procurement Center NO LATE BIDS SHALL BE ACCEPTED.

The bid proposal must be accompanied by all documents required by the conditions and specifications for submitting a bid proposal. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, C. 127, (N.J.A.C. 17:27-5.2), concerning Affirmative Action Goals.

The bid must be accompanied by a stockholder disclosure of all stockholders in a corporation or partnership who own ten percent (10%) or greater interest therein.

The bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond, made payable to the County of Passaic Treasurer, for ten percent (10%) of the bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, guaranteeing acceptance of the contract, if awarded.

The Board of Chosen Freeholders of the County of Passaic reserves the right to consider the BID PROPOSALS for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof; and further reserves the right to reject any and all bid proposals, waive informalities, and make such awards or take action as may be in the best interest of the County.
