Golf Course, Wayne, NJ - The golf course, situated in Preakness Valley Park next to the historic Dey Mansion, is comprised of two eighteen-hole courses, practice greens, and a shag field. The golf course, open from dawn to dusk, is a year round facility and only closes on Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Rifle Camp Park, Woodland Park, NJ
Rifle Camp Park ahs a wide variety of recreational activities, an amphitheater for concerts and events, the John Crowley Nature Center and Astronomical Observatory.

Goffle Brook Park, Hawthorne, NJ
Goffle Brook Park is a 103-acre park is adjacent to the Goffle Brook. It contains a pond, stocked with trout, athletic fields, a playground, and a contained dog park.

Weasel Brook Park, Clifton, NJ
Weasel Brook Park is a neighborhood park with a brook, two softball fields and basketball courts and playgrounds and regulation Horseshoe Pits.

Friendship Park, Bloomingdale, NJ
Friendship Park is an 8-acre park with hiking trails in natural woodland setting. A small parking lot is located adjacent to the park.

Tranquility Ridge Park, Ringwood and West Milford, NJ
Tranquility Ridge is a 2,110-acre woodland that was originally part of the Sterling Forest tract . Hikers enjoy the getting back to nature and a deep forest.

SanCap Park, West Milford, NJ
SanCap Park is mostly undeveloped except for a small portion that contains athletic fields. Hiking trails are in the A. Abram S. Hewitt State Forest.

Apshawa Preserve, West Milford, NJ
Apshawa Preserve is a 512-acre park with a 43-acre reservoir and miles of hiking trails. Next to tne park is a 68-acre tract owned by the New Jersey Conservation Foundation.

Garret Mountain Reservation, West Paterson, NJ
Garret Mountain Reservation is a 568-acre recreational area, situated more than 500 feet above sea level. It has views of northern New Jersey and the New York City skyline. Lambert Castle and its Observation Tower, and the Equestrian Center are also located in Garret Mountain Reservation.
