This seminar will review State Statutes for Commercial Truck Enforcement and videos showing trucks and how to inspect for Improper Loads, Overweight Vehicles, Emission Stickers, I.R.P. Violations and Proper Inspection. Upon completion, the officer will be
able to conduct a routine commercial truck inspection.

Crash Investigation for the Patrol Officer, Introduction
This two-day rudimentary level course is designed to train uniformed patrol officers in the investigation of motor vehicle crashes that are of a serious nature but do not necessarily rise to the level of a criminal action. Attendees will be instructed in the recognition and documentation of relevant types of evidence. Among the topics to be addressed will be: Measurement Techniques; Drawing Field Sketches, What Pictures To Take; Conducting of Field Intervies.
Lectures will be supplemented by actual field projects that will be performed by the attendees who will be assigned to investigative teams.
While designed specifically for the patrol office, this course is a good introduction for students who may be going on th NJ OHTS and North Jersey sponsored crash investigation courses.
