NOTICE is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 10:30 AM by the County of Passaic, on the Second Floor of the Passaic County Procurement Center, located at 495 River Street, Paterson, New Jersey, 07524 for the following:

C-18-006: 2018 Roadway Resurfacing Project
in the municipalities of
Clifton, Haledon, Little Falls, Passaic, Paterson, Totowa, Wayne, and West Milford

The work includes furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in the specifications and as shown on the construction plans.

The principal items of work to be constructed:

Bid Items:

HMA Milling 3” or less 141,000 SY
HMA 9.5M64 Surface Course 18,250 Ton
Reset Existing Castings 100 UN
Reset Guiderail 735 LF
Replace Guiderail 6,285 LF
Concrete Sidewalk 8,460 SY
9”x18” Concrete Vertical Curb 16,310 LF
Traffic Stripes, Long Life, Epoxy Resin 114,725 LF

Proposals, Plans, and Specifications are ONLY available digitally. Digital copies may be obtained at the Passaic County Procurement Center, Second Floor, 495 River Street, Paterson, New Jersey, 07524, during regular business hours (8:30 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.) upon payment of Ten Dollars ($10.00). Please email bidrequest@passaiccountynj.org to reserve a copy. When requesting the documents via email, please provide your full contact information including US mailing address and fax number.

Proposals must be submitted on the forms supplied along with 2 additional copies plus 1 on CD or USB Flash Drive.

Proposals must be received at the hour designated in this advertisement at the Procurement Center. The County of Passaic is not responsible for bids delivered or otherwise not arriving on time.
The proposal must be accompanied by all documents required by the conditions and specifications for submitting a proposal. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. & P.L. 1975, C. 127, (N.J.A.C. 17:27-5.2), concerning Affirmative Action Goals and Equal Employment Opportunity.

Please be advised that State funds through the NJDOT County Aid Program are being utilized in this project. Under N.J.A.C. 7:1-5, vendors currently suspended, debarred, or disqualified are excluded from participation on this project

The Board of Chosen Freeholders of the County of Passaic reserves the right to consider the BID PROPOSALS for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof; and further reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive informalities, and make such awards or take action as may be in the best interest of the County.
