MEDIA ADVISORY: GROUND BREAKING CEREMONY FOR DUNDEE ISLAND PARK

Elected officials and stakeholders break ground on transformative project in the City of Passaic 

(Paterson, New Jersey) – Elected officials, stakeholders, and dignitaries are breaking ground on the Dundee Island Park Project, a twelve million dollar endeavor to revitalize seven acres of riverfront parkland with a new field house, amphitheater, river walk, athletic field, and other amenities in the City of Passaic. The project is a joint effort between the County of Passaic, City of Passaic, and Trust for Public Land, and is being funded by a five million dollar grant from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, the Passaic County Open Space, Farmland, and Historic Preservation Trust Fund, and the Passaic County Capital Budget. Dundee Island Park is the first riverfront park in the Passaic County Park System.
