Learn to Ride a Bike (Hawthorne)

There are programs at Camp Hope, Goffle Brook Park, and Weasel Brook Park.  To learn more, visit passaiccountyrec.org.

Passaic County is proud to partner with EZ Ride to celebrate World Bicycle Day with a fun and educational event on Saturday, August 29 at Goffle Brook Park.  This family-friendly program features a 10 AM “Learn to Ride” session for children ages 6+ focused on building confidence through balance, pedaling, and safe bike handling, followed by an 11:30 AM Bike Safety Talk, skills course, and guided park ride for ages 8+.  Participants will learn essential riding techniques, safety practices, and New Jersey traffic rules before putting their skills into action on a group ride through the scenic paths of the park.  This event is a great opportunity for young riders to gain confidence, improve safety awareness, and enjoy the outdoors on two wheels.
