Passaic County is here to help families, seniors and individuals during delays in federal SNAP benefits. Our SNAP food assistance programs provide emergency food packages and SNAP boxes to support residents in need. 

In order to receive support, residents must have their EBT/SNAP card physically with them and an ID card. 

Residents who are not currently enrolled in SNAP but are experiencing food insecurity are encouraged to contact the Passaic County Department of Human Services for information on eligibility and assistance.

Expanded Mobile Food Pantry Services

In response to the ongoing federal government shutdown, the Passaic County Board of County Commissioners has expanded its mobile food pantry services to ensure that residents who rely on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) continue to have access to nutritious food.
