Passaic County Fair Returns to Garret Mountain August 13–16
Passaic County, NJ – The Passaic County Board of County Commissioners and Friends of Passaic County Parks, Inc. invite residents and visitors from across the region to the 2026 Passaic County Fair, running Thursday, August 13 through Sunday, August 16 at Garret Mountain Reservation in Paterson/Woodland Park. The Fair’s Opening Ceremony takes place Thursday, August 13 at 7:30 PM.
One of Passaic County’s most beloved summer traditions, the Fair draws thousands of families each year for four days of non-stop fun. This year’s lineup includes amusement rides, carnival games, arts and crafts, environmental education activities, pony rides, bounce houses, live music, fireworks, a beer garden and food from some of the best vendors in the County - all with free admission.
Family Night kicks off the Fair on Thursday, August 13, when fairgoers can purchase a $35 wristband for unlimited amusement rides. The Opening Ceremony follows at 7:30 PM. Two fireworks displays sponsored by United Federated Systems, will light up the Garret Mountain sky on Friday, August 14 and Saturday, August 15 at approximately 9:30 PM.
The County Fair Stage will be filled with live music all four evenings, featuring some of the region’s most energetic performers: Naughty Humphrey, Mixtape Meltdown, Grupo Mambo Swing, Cold Sweat, Javy y Su Swing de Guille, and Craig Redmond & the C-Dreams. Whether the crowd is looking for Latin rhythms, funk, or high-energy covers, there is something on this stage for every taste.
“The Passaic County Fair is one of the highlights of our summer calendar and everything about this year’s event reflects the energy and diversity that define this community,” said Commissioner Director Sandi Lazzara. “Whether you’re coming for the fireworks, the live music, the food or simply a night out with your family, there is something here for everyone. The Fair is free to attend and every dollar raised goes right back into the parks and programs that make Passaic County a great place to live.”
This year’s Fair is proudly supported by premier sponsors Provident Bank, Braen Stone Industries, Inc., and Schumacher Chevrolet, Inc., whose generosity helps make this community celebration possible year after year.
