Summary

The Passaic County Board of County Commissioners are proud to announce the construction of a senior and veterans’ affordable housing project at 519 Ringwood Avenue in Pompton Lakes. The $19.6 million contract has been awarded to APS Contracting, Inc., a local company, ensuring the project stays within budget and remains on schedule to break ground this year. This initiative aims to provide 64 one-bedroom units for low- and moderate-income households, prioritizing veterans and local seniors. 

The facility is going to be managed by Christian Healthcare Center upon completion, and the building will prioritize veterans and Pompton Lakes seniors, offering quality living spaces and comprehensive support services.
