PUBLIC NOTICE 6/29/2021
The Passaic County Public Housing Agency has been awarded funding for a limited number of Emergency Housing Vouchers (EHVs). These vouchers are designated to assist individuals or families who are experiencing homelessness; at risk of experiencing homelessness; fleeing, or attempting to flee, domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, or human trafficking; or recently homeless or having high risk of housing instability.
If you believe you fall into one of these categories and may be eligible, you MUST CONTACT Sonya McKinney at the Passaic County Department of Human Services either by phone at (973)881-2834 or (973)225-5411 or email at email@example.com.
Please note that all referrals for this program must come from the Human Services Department.
The Passaic County Public Housing Agency is responsible for the administration of 835 federally funded Housing Choice vouchers, which provide rental assistance to eligible county residents who reside in privately owned apartments. The Housing Agency does not serve the cities of Paterson, Passaic or Clifton as these three municipalities operate their own programs. The Housing Agency Board of Commissioners, which sets policy for the agency, is comprised of six County Commissioners and one resident. The Board welcomes any and all comments from the public.
