The Passaic County Office of Solid Waste & Recycling Programs coordinates all solid waste and recycling planning functions for the municipalities of Passaic County, to include solid waste and recycling facility reviews, recycling collection and disposal programs, educational programming, and public outreach activities. The Office also administers the NJ Clean Communities litter prevention program, and is responsible for overseeing the in-house solid waste and recycling program for Passaic County’s facilities and parks. We are collecting bikes and sewing machines to be put to good use in the developing world in countries like Ghana, Tanzania, Albania, Fiji and Guatemala.
