Water is something that connects all living things on this Earth. Water travels through rivers, lakes, forests, and even through plants and animals! Join us for an incredible journey around the world as a single droplet of water to better understand the importance of this resource. Each guest will create their own water cycle bracelet and meet some ambassador animals that depend on clean water for survival. (Recommended for ages 7+, but all ages welcome!)

This hike is all about the excitement of seeing the first green sprouts and colorful blooms in early spring! We will take a moderate/hard hike to the Butler Reservoir while we keep our observant eyes on the forest floor to look for wildflowers. These spring ephemeral flowers only stick around until the trees grow in their leaves, so we will take advantage of this special time to learn about these stunning seasonal plants. (Ages 6+)

Get swinging with the Passaic County Parks & Recreation Spring T-Ball program, instructed by US Sports Institute.

This 6-week t-ball program is designed to introduce t-ball to children with little or no experience in a fun, recreational environment.  The amazing coaches at US Sports Institute will spend time teaching your child the fundamentals of t-ball, in a fun, non-competitive, educational manner, with the goal of increasing their interest and skill level in the sport.

They will become better students at school, better listeners at home and more ambitious towards the future.

Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow the Zumba participants to dance away their worries. It is based on the principle that a workout should be fun and easy to do, in order for Zumba participants to stick to the Zumba fitness program to achieve long-term health benefits. The cameras in today’s iPhones have become quite sophisticated, and in addition to documenting our daily lives, we can use them to create beautiful photographs. 
 
In this workshop with Hawthorne-based photo instructor, Lyn Morton, we will learn how to use your iPhone to take great pictures. We will learn:
 - What situations make the best photo opportunities
 - How to set up a photo for maximum impact
 - How to get great lighting in any situation
 - iPhone-only tricks to take photos that look like they came from a DSLR
 - Tips for taking engaging portraits
 - How to take better vacation and travel photos

Join Don Weise of the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference for an introductory class on the exhilarating sport of Trail Running. Don will discuss trail basics: equipment/supplies you should have, preparation and safety tips, beginner-friendly trails and navigation, and proper form. Bring your running shoes and get ready to have fun!

This class is perfect for beginners, as well as experienced road and cross country runners who are interested in exploring the world of trail running!

Topics will include:
 - Proper trail running equipment and supplies.
 - How to prepare for a trail run.
 - How to navigate using a map, practicing 'Leave No Trace' principles, and staying safe on the trails.
 - How to find beginner-friendly trails.
 - Proper trail running form and training tips.
