The Clerk’s office will then immediately post the election results to the County Website.

Copies of reports such as Mail in Ballot Lists and Voter Registration Lists are available through the Clerk’s Office for a fee and by requesting ahead of time. Our office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Petitions for Candidates
In an effort to improve the Petition Filing experience, the Passaic County Clerk's Office is now offering petition filers an opportunity to schedule an appointment prior to the petition filing date. Scheduling an appointment will improve the petition filing process and help reduce the time spent filing your petition. Please call the Election Office at (973) 881-4127.

Candidates Petitions by Election:

Due to the COVID-19 public health crisis, Governor Philip Murphy signed Executive Order No. 216 on January 25, 2021, modifying petition requirements for the upcoming 2021 elections. In addition to in-person collection of handwritten signatures, the Executive Order permits electronically collected signatures as well. Forms, additional information, and video tutorials can be found on the New Jersey State Division of Elections website.
