COUNTY COMMISSIONER MICHAEL RAMAGLIA brings more than two decades of leadership experience in the engineering and infrastructure fields, with a career focused on overseeing large-scale development initiatives, capital projects, and complex operational environments. He is widely recognized for his strategic approach, collaborative leadership style, and ability to align project delivery with organizational and community goals.
Throughout his career, Commissioner Ramaglia has led multidisciplinary teams across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, managing major construction, rehabilitation, and facilities projects. His work has emphasized fiscal responsibility, regulatory compliance, safety, and accountability, with extensive experience coordinating architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and government agencies to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Commissioner Ramaglia has held senior roles with respected engineering firms, including The Falcon Group, and currently works with O&S Associates, a nationally recognized engineering and architectural firm based in New York City. His professional background includes managing multimillion-dollar budgets, improving operational efficiency, and implementing process improvements that strengthen long-term performance.
In addition to his professional career, Commissioner Ramaglia is deeply committed to public service. He serves as a Member of the Passaic County Board of Commissioners, a Commissioner of the Passaic County Improvement Authority, a Commissioner on the Passaic County Board of Elections, and as a Councilman for the Township of West Milford. His combined experience in engineering, operations, and governance supports his focus on responsible stewardship, transparency, and community-focused outcomes.
In Spring 2026, Commissioner Ramaglia will attend the Cornell University Executive Leadership Program, continuing his commitment to professional development and effective public leadership.
