My County Poster Contest
Danielle Ireland-Imhof, Passaic County Clerk, is pleased to announce the 30th Annual Passaic County Clerk’s Office Poster Calendar Contest winners. This program allows fourth graders to design a poster reflecting Passaic County. This year’s contest is especially meaningful as it coincides with the 250th birthday of the United States. In honor of that milestone, we invited students to design a poster that reflects either Passaic County’s rich history, local attractions, recreational sites, and cultural diversity; or a tribute to the United States’ 250th anniversary, reflecting national pride, historic moments, or landmarks in our great country. For the second consecutive year, we received more than 950 beautiful poster submissions!
All winners received medals and T-shirts, with the first, second, and third place winners also receiving gift certificates to Barnes & Noble, courtesy of the Passaic County Clerk’s Office. Each artist who participated in the contest received a Certificate of Merit. Congratulations to all the winners, and a special thank you to all the parents, guardians, teachers, and administrators for your support, which helped make this year another success!
Copies of the poster will be displayed in prominent locations throughout Passaic County including schools, libraries, and government buildings. It is also available to download HERE.

Danielle Ireland-Imhof, Passaic County Clerk, is pleased to announce the winners of the 24th Annual Passaic County Clerk’s Poster Calendar Contest. This program creates an opportunity for fourth graders to design a poster reflecting Passaic County’s great history, local interest, recreational sites, and cultural diversity; creating a greater sense of community and pride for their county.
Additionally, 2020 marks the 100th Anniversary of the 19th Constitutional Amendment, granting women the right to vote! In honor of Women’s Suffrage, Clerk Danielle Ireland-Imhof added a second design theme to this year’s poster contest. The 24 winning entries, 12 for the My County Calendar and 12 for the Women’s Suffrage Calendar, make up this year’s calendars that are distributed to schools, government offices, libraries, and other public locations around Passaic County.
All winners in each category received medals and tee-shirts, with the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each category also receiving gift certificates to Barnes and Noble, courtesy of the Passaic County Clerk’s Office. Each of the young artists that participated in the contest received a Certificate of Merit. “The annual poster contest is a special time of year that I and my office always look forward to. I am especially grateful for the teachers, administrators, and parents who encouraged these young artists to think outside the box regarding their designs. This year, we saw the highest number of poster entries in Passaic County’s history of the poster contest and some of the most creative entries ever. This program helps us continuously appreciate a child’s perspective of our County’s rich history and of the world around them” said Clerk Ireland-Imhof.
