PASSAIC COUNTY TECHNICAL INSTITUTE LOWERS TUITION

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: MARCH 6, 2020

PASSAIC COUNTY TECHNICAL INSTITUTE LOWERS TUITION
With additional funding from the state, PCTI saves taxpayers over $1M

(Passaic County, New Jersey) – This week, Passaic County Technical Institute announced that it is lowering their tuition rate for the second time by $250 per student. The previous tuition reduction occurred in 2012. The reduction for the 2020 – 2021 school year tuition is a total of $250 per student, saving taxpayers a total of $1,043,500 across eleven school districts across Passaic County. The current tuition rate for the 2019 - 2020 school year is currently $11,614.

“This is important tax relief -- over $1 million -- for school districts and ultimately residents throughout Passaic County.  The relief offered by lowering tuition is in addition to another budget cycle with no increase in the tax levy.  Passaic County is continuing our record of proven financial stability and fiscal responsibility,” stated Freeholder Director Cassandra “Sandi” Lazzara.
