Update Your Voter Registration  

Address Change

If you have moved within Passaic County, you must fill out an In-County Address Change form. 

If you have moved into Passaic County from another county or state, you must fill out a Voter Registration form.

If you have moved out of Passaic County, but within New Jersey, you will need to complete a Voter Registration form in your new county.  Find your form here. 

If you have moved out of New Jersey, complete a Voter Removal form and return to the Passaic County Superintendent of Elections, 501 River Street, Paterson, NJ 07524. 

Deceased Voter Removal 

If a household member who was a registered voter has passed away and their name should be removed from the Passaic County, NJ Voter Registration System, complete a Deceased Voter Removal form and return to the Passaic County Superintendent of Elections, 501 River Street, Paterson, NJ 07524. 

Party Affiliation Change 

A registered voter currently affiliated with a political party who wishes to change their party affiliation must file a Political Party Affiliation Declaration Form 55 days before a Primary Election.  For the 2025 Primary Election, the deadline is Wednesday, April 16, 2025. 

A registered voter currently not affiliated with a political party may declare their party affiliation up to and including Primary Election day.

You can print and complete the Political Party Affiliation Declaration Form and mail or deliver to the Commissioner of Registration in your county or you can also file it with your municipal clerk. These cards are also available at your local Commissioner of Registration Office.

The Commissioner of Registration cannot accept faxed copies or an electronic transmission of Party Affiliation Declaration Forms, since an original signature is required.
