The Passaic County Board of Elections is tasked with overseeing a fair and open election process.  The Board of Elections is responsible for the recruitment, hiring, training, and placement of all board workers throughout the county.  The office also canvasses and counts all mail-in ballots and provisional ballots.  The Passaic County Board of Elections consists of four members, two from each party.

  • Passaic County Clerk Elections Division (Responsible for Balloting Printing, Certifying Election Results, Preparing Vote-by-Mail Ballots, Processing Vote-by-Mail Applications, Petitions, ELC Filing)
  • Passaic County Superintendent of Elections (Responsible for Voter Registration, Party Affiliation Changes, Maintaining Voter History, Voting Machines and Electronic Poll Books, Enforcement of all election laws and ensuring compliance with NJSA Title 19 and the National Voting Rights Act.)
